Man, I don't know how people gauge their ears, because that stuff hurts, for real! I just recently shoved a metal rod (12g taper) through my ear, and I almost couldn't do it because it hurt like hell; all those people with double zeros in their ear lobes are crazy!
But the story doesn't end there. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of my tapers, as they were a real nice, shiny blue, because when exposed to water, the blue coating around the taper started to flake off! So I had to carefully pull it out of my sore ear fearing a flake might embed inside my ear causing an infection. Next I began to scrape off all the blue coating to reveal the silver metal underneath, so when I was done, I shoved it back into my ear only to find out a few days later, that what was supposed to be 316L surgical steel, began to rust! Tetanus anyone??
Now I have a new taper made of acrylic so it won't flake or rust, but I wish I could have one made of metal that was anodized or something, and not covered in some cheap coating.

For real, I've been aimlessly hashing out this comic for twenty pages without realizing the whole story. Which is probably why the progress on it has been a bit slow lately. So the other day, I was brainstorming some more character development when my brain suddenly clicked. I could practically see TWHC in its entirety in that instant!
I'm excited because my comic finally has a direction. I now know the jist of the plot, who all is involved, and most importantly, how the story will end. And let me tell ya, it should be pretty bad ass!
